CO READYROOM

Command chair
Right arm of chair is equipped with a small, touch-sensitive PADD-like display for interfacing with the ship's computer and other stations on the Bridge. Left arm of chair has a small keypunch board for direct communication with various sections of the ship via the internal commsystem.

Operations
Adaptable multi-function console that can be used to assist any other station on Bridge, but is generally intended for management of ship's power grid, supplies/resources, Damage Control, and communications network.

CONN
Primarily for management of helm and navigation functions, but is also capable of calling up communications, Tactical sensors, Shuttlebay systems, and tractor beam functions.

Security/Tactical
Primarily for management of weapons and shield functions, but is also capable of calling up communications, broader external sensor spectrums, internal sensors, and tractor beam functions.  Management and coordination of Security forces, internal sensors, and defensive containment fields within the ship, but is also capable of most other Tactical functions to allow an additional officer to provide assistance with weapons firing/targeting during combat.

Overall Status display (ship schematic panel)
As it says, provides an overview of the ship in an interactive schematic form that can be used to explain in more simplistic visual terms the current overall nature of the ship.

Main Viewscreen
Primarily for the widescreen display of space outside the hull or communication with people on other vessels or worlds. Can also do those functions while simultaneously displaying "picture-in-picture" readouts from any computer station for sake of viewing by captain or all Bridge crew.

Engineering I (master control)
Virtually any function of the ship can be controlled or rerouted from this station, though it's mostly intended for general management and monitoring of the ship's most vital systems (life support, defenses, navigational deflectors, engines, etc.) and repairs of those systems.  Offers more detailed display and precise control of  ship's warp & impulse engines, fuel supply, and power supplies (auxiliary reactors, batteries, etc.).  Offers more detailed display and precise control of ship's environmental systems (air, water, heating, cooling, inertial dampeners, waste management/recycling, gravity plating), most of which are absolutely necessary for life support.
